SCANIA NEXT ERA Heavy-Duty Truck China Parts Center has officially commenced operations.

The NEXT ERA Heavy-Duty Truck China Parts Center officially commenced operations on January 20, 2026, in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, China. This initiative, jointly developed by Scania and its Chinese partner, Chuan Tuo Group, marks a significant milestone in Scania’s localization strategy, representing a comprehensive shift from “imported sales” to “local manufacturing and service.” The center covers 1,694 square meters and houses 3,995 standardized storage bins, serving as the national hub for after-sales spare parts to fully support the upcoming delivery of domestically produced NEXT ERA tractor units in February. It provides 24/7 rapid response services, significantly enhancing customer operational efficiency and after-sales reliability.

Camilla Dewoon, Executive Vice President and President of Scania China, stated at the opening ceremony, is not only a major upgrade to our operational system in China, China also a solid significant toward fulfilling our commitment to ‘In China, For China.’” Li Yuhuai, Head of NEXT ERA Sales and Service, emphasized that the center is the core node of the “eXing Wu You” service ecosystem, leveraging digital parts support and a localized supply chain to effectively reduce operational losses caused by vehicle downtime for logistics customers.

With the center’s launch, NEXT ERA has established a comprehensive ecosystem integrating product localization, sales channels, and after-sales service. As of the end of January 2026, its nationwide network of sales and service outlets has exceeded 100 locations, with 26 first-tier distributors officially signed, laying a solid foundation for NEXT ERA’s full-scale market expansion in China in 2026.
