Scania China Delivered 60 NEXT ERA Heavy-Duty Trucks to a Single Customer in Guangdong

Opening Ceremony of new authorized dealership

On October 18, Scania NEXT ERA heavy-duty trucks achieved a significant milestone in the South China market: Guangdong Lingke Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. completed the delivery of 60 repurchased vehicles, while the brand's new authorized dealership, Chenhua Sihua (Guangzhou) Technology Service Co., Ltd., officially opened to expand the channel network in western Guangdong.

All 60 delivered units are 6×2 mainstream tractors, primarily intended for domestic trunk line operations and even international ultra-long-distance transportation. These vehicles will assist Lingke Supply Chain in upgrading its fleet to achieve more efficient and higher-quality transport capacity. As one of the first customers to adopt NEXT ERA heavy-duty trucks, Lingke Supply Chain initially purchased five NEXT ERA trucks in the first half of this year. After more than three months of operational testing, the vehicles' core performance exceeded expectations. Compared to similar-class vehicles, these trucks save 3 to 5 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. Their outstanding overall performance and reliable uptime make them highly suitable for ultra-long-distance routes. Additionally, the extended whole-vehicle warranty has been a key factor in the company's decision to make a repeat purchase.

Camilla Dewoon, Executive Vice President of Scania Group and President of Scania Group China, stated that Guangzhou, as the core hub for national long-distance trunk freight, is a key market for heavy-duty trucks. Since its launch, the NEXT ERA heavy-duty trucks have received high market recognition, with repeat orders from multiple customers, including Lingke Supply Chain, serving as the best proof of this.

The South China Dealer Training Center, launched on the same day, will support the development of the regional sales and service network, parts inventory, technician training, and other key areas. It will enhance service assurance by providing local customers with convenient maintenance and rapid response. NEXT ERA heavy-duty trucks are equipped with the latest Scania Group engines and a wide-ratio intelligent transmission. Under identical working conditions, their fuel costs are 12% to 20% lower than those of competing models, and the vehicles are 300 to 500 kilograms lighter than others in the same class. With optional packages tailored to various climates and road conditions, these models are fully capable of meeting the demands of long-distance logistics operations. Moving forward, NEXT ERA heavy-duty trucks will continue to focus on the needs of long-distance logistics, helping more logistics enterprises upgrade their transport capacity and achieve growth in profitability.
