Is MAN Trucks going to withdraw from the Chinese market? No!

On July 28, MAN Truck & Bus SE (hereinafter referred to as "MAN") officially announced that, starting in August 2026, Hangzhou Zhengman Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hangzhou Zhengman") will become MAN's new importer in China. Hangzhou Zhengman will assume full responsibility for core operations, including product introduction, certification and approval, parts supply, and warranty services.

This move is not the rumored "withdrawal" from the market but a significant upgrade to MAN's operational model in China. By partnering with an entity possessing extensive local resources, MAN aims to combine its global product advantages with local market insights to more effectively and flexibly develop the Chinese commercial vehicle market.
