Installation Guide for a Truck Air-Conditioning Compressor

1. Compressor installation and usage instructions：

-The inclination angle of the compressor installed on the engine or bracket should be within 35° from left to right, as shown in the picture below.

-During the installation process, the compressor—especially the clutch—should be protected from any impacts or bumps

-To prevent liquid shock damage to the compressor, take care when filling refrigerant: charge refrigerant (gas or liquid) from the high-pressure side during shutdown, and charge refrigerant gas from the low-pressure side during operation.

-The compressor should be filled with an appropriate amount of regular R134a, R1234yf (or designated refrigerant), ensuring it is neither overfilled nor underfilled.

-The compressor uses lubricating oil specified by our company (see the label on the compressor). If the air conditioning system's pipelines, evaporators, or condensers need to be replaced, 30 to 50 ml of the designated lubricating oil can be added as appropriate.

-Before installing the compressor, the original air conditioning system must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any impurities. If the replacement compressor fails due to internal seizure and the lubricating oil appears black, it is recommended to replace the evaporator, condenser, expansion valve, and liquid storage tank in the air conditioning system. This helps prevent secondary contamination of the compressor and extends its service life.

2. Precautions

-When repairing or maintaining the air conditioning system or compressor, you must use the same brand of lubricant specified on the compressor label. It is strictly prohibited to use any other brand of lubricating oil.

-It is strictly prohibited to add low-quality refrigerant, as it can introduce moisture and impurities into the air conditioning system, leading to compressor corrosion and lubricating oil failure.

-This compressor is a high-precision product. There are no maintenance points available for repairing the body. Unauthorized disassembly of the compressor body is strictly prohibited.
