Coolant Selection Specifications

Truck coolant must withstand heavy loads, high temperatures, and long distances. It is recommended to use coolants formulated with OAT (Organic Acid Technology) or HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) and to avoid traditional silicate-based coolants, as these can cause wear on the ceramic-graphite seals of the water pump. The freezing point should be 10–15°C below the lowest local temperature (e.g., -45°C for northern China), and the boiling point must be at least 128°C to handle the engine's high-load operation.
